Setting up Outlook mail

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook. If you’re running it for the first time it will immediately prompt you to enter your email address, in which case, skip to step 3.
  2. If you already have an account set up in Outlook, you’ll need to click the File menu on the toolbar, then click “Add Account” (screenshot).
  3. Enter the email address you are adding (e.g., ) (screenshot).
  4. Choose IMAP (screenshot).
  5. Enter the following details:

    Incoming Mail

    • Server: h1.hrunk.com
    • Port: 993
    • Encryption method: SSL/TLS
    • Require login using Secure Password Authentication (SPA): ticked

    Outgoing Mail

    • Server: h1.hrunk.com
    • Port: 587
    • Encryption method: STARTTLS
    • Require login using Secure Password Authentication (SPA): ticked
  6. Click “Next”.
  7. Enter the password for the account you are adding.

You can then repeat this process for any additional accounts you wish to add.
